West Washington is proud to feature Stacy Sullivan. Mrs. Sullivan has an impressive track record as an educator in Washington County and is a Senator Alumni.
Family Ties:
This may be Mrs. Sullivan’s first year teaching at West Washington, however, she is no stranger to being a Senator. Her pride and respect for West Washington runs deep. “My husband, our three children, and I are all WW alumni. We live on a farm here in the community and have been blessed with four grandchildren who will also attend WW,” replied Mrs. Sullivan.
Career Background:
With 30 years of experience in education, Mrs. Sullivan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to West Washington. “I began my career at East Washington Elementary, where I worked as a classroom teacher at various grade levels and as an assistant principal. Due to my strong desire to spend more time with my grandchildren, I chose to retire from my full-time position at EW,” explained Mrs. Sullivan.
Passion for Teaching:
Mrs. Sullivan’s new position at West Washington appears to be the perfect fit. “I truly believe that when one door closes, another door opens. I felt that the door to this position was one I should open, so I chose to reach out regarding the new opening for the Developmental Preschool position. I have always loved teaching and helping others. With this new part-time position, I am able to spend more time with my grandchildren and still do what I love on a part-time basis,” shared Mrs. Sullivan.
First Impression:
With about 10 weeks in this new role, Mrs. Sullivan has been very impressed with her experience. “I have been very pleased with the administration, teachers, and staff at WW. They have been very supportive and welcoming,” added Mrs. Sullivan.
