Welcome back to school. No snow overnight, only rain and wet.
Luckily, temps stayed just above freezing.
Regular schedule today.
We are monitoring the weather for Tuesday morning. A decision on a delay or cancelation will be made and communicated before 6:00 am.
Reminder-
Monday is a virtual day for all WWSC Students.
All WWSC Students return to school on Tuesday 1/19/21.
ALL WWSC students will return to school on Tuesday January 19th.
HS will NO LONGER be on a hybrid schedule.
WWSC will be ALL VIRTUAL for ALL GRADES on Thursday and Friday January 14th and 15th.
We have a high number of staff out on quarantine due to contact tracing. The number and the roles they play in our school do not allow us to adequately provide for the physical and academic needs of the students.
The return to school will be evaluated during the closure. We anticipate this being a short term closure.
WHEN we return, we will return to normal physical instruction for ALL GRADES.
Grades PreK-6th will return to a five day a week physical instruction schedule.
Grades 7th-12th will return to a four day a week physical instruction schedule with Wednesday being a virtual day.
GRADES 9-12 WILL NO LONGER BE ON A HYBRID SCHEDULE.
WW home athletic events will be household members ONLY until the county advisory level moves to ORANGE.
There are isolated slick spots on our roads. Travel will caution.

Upcoming Board Meeting Agendas 1/11/21
The county metric and advisory level for Washington County are both RED.
Beginning tomorrow, Thursday 1/7, grades 9-12 will begin on a hybrid schedule. Grades PreK-8 will remain on their normal schedules.
The county metric data was released by the state. Washington County is ORANGE. All grade levels will be back to school Monday 1/4/20.
This will be evaluated daily & the county metric will update weekly.

The WWSC 2021-2022 School Calendar was adopted at the last board meeting. This is NEXT year's school calendar.
Attached is the WWSC Back on Track schedule. We will announce how we will begin the week of January 4th after the Indiana State Department of Health updates the county metric on Wednesday 12/30/2020.
